Ana Mora joined McHugh Koepke & Associates in February 2018, as an office manager/legislative Assistant. She is a recent graduate from Sacramento State University, earning a degree in Government.
She entered the realm of politics in January of 2016 when she was accepted into the Sacramento Semester program. The program was established in 1976 at the California State University, Sacramento, to allow students from California State University Campuses to have a first-hand experience in working in the state legislature, departments in the executive branch, or with political associations.
Ana interned in the office of Senator Bob Hertzberg, who was then chair of Senate Governance and Finance. Through her internship she gained legislative aide experience, assisting with legislative research, monitoring bills, and working closely with committee staff on issues pertaining to taxes and local jurisdictions.
After completing her Sacramento State Internship, Ana began working for the current Speaker of the California State Assembly, Anthony Rendon where she performed administrative front desk duties and assisted with the Speaker’s scheduling.
At the beginning of 2017, Ana became the Executive Assistant for then Majority Whip of the California Assembly, Raul Bocanegra. Ana has been a proud lifelong resident of Sacramento, California.
