Lauren Kimzey joined the firm in January 2008 as the firm’s Legislative Assistant. Lauren is an essential part of the McHugh team providing critical assistance to the firm’s clients and lobbyists in their government relations and lobbying activities.
Prior to joining the McHugh & Associates team, Lauren was an intern for a Sacramento-based government relations firm where she was charged with bill tracking, bill analysis, scheduling, and much more. Her experience as an intern has paved the way for her work with McHugh & Associates.
Lauren graduated in May 2007 from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and a Minor in Philosophy. During her time at CSU Sacramento, she was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, a political science honor society. She also was involved with the Sacramento Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, a co-ed pre-law fraternity.
